1. Definitions
- “Platform” refers to the YIBE website (yibe.co.in).
- “User” refers to any individual or entity who accesses the Platform, whether they are Yi members or the public.
- “Member” refers to individuals who are registered members of Young Indians (Yi) and have their businesses listed on YIBE.
- “Listing” refers to any business, product, or service information provided by members on the Platform.
2. Use of the Platform
- YIBE is a directory platform designed to help Yi members showcase their businesses, products, and services. It is not an e-commerce platform.
- Public users can browse and search for businesses, bookmark listings, and submit reviews (subject to admin approval).
- Only registered Yi members can list their businesses on the Platform.
- All users must use the Platform responsibly, respecting the community standards and legal requirements.
3. Member Registration and Business Listing
- Members cannot self-register. The YIBE admin will manually register members by collecting their name, contact information, and email address.
- Once registered, members will receive an email with a login link. Members can log in using their email and OTP to access their account and create business listings.
- Members are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in their listings.
- All listings must be approved by the YIBE admin before going live. YIBE reserves the right to reject or remove listings that do not comply with our policies.
4. Account Security
- YIBE operates a password-free login system. Members will log in using their email and an OTP (One-Time Password) sent to their registered email address.
- Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their email accounts and OTPs. YIBE is not liable for any unauthorized access to accounts.
5. Public User Interaction
- Public users can search for businesses, bookmark listings, and submit reviews. Reviews must be constructive and respectful.
- All reviews are subject to admin approval to ensure they meet YIBE’s community standards. YIBE reserves the right to reject or remove any reviews that are inappropriate or violate our policies.
6. Content Ownership and Rights
- Members retain ownership of the content they upload to the Platform, including business details, images, and other related information.
- By submitting content to YIBE, members grant YIBE the right to display, distribute, and promote their listings within the Platform.
- Members agree not to upload any content that infringes upon the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users of YIBE are prohibited from engaging in the following activities:
- Misrepresentation of information in business listings or reviews.
- Uploading content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Using YIBE for any fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Attempting to access unauthorized areas of the Platform or tampering with the Platform’s security features.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
YIBE provides the Platform on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. While we strive to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information on the Platform, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or availability of listings or services. YIBE is not liable for any errors or omissions in the content provided by members.
9. Limitation of Liability
YIBE is not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from the use of the Platform, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential. This includes, but is not limited to, issues related to the accuracy of listings, unauthorized access to accounts, or interactions between users and members.
10. Termination of Use
YIBE reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to any user or member at any time, without notice, if they violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in any activities deemed harmful to the Platform or its users.
11. Modifications to Terms
YIBE reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [your location].
